During the week after the EuroLeague Final Four, players had the chance to vote on the achievements of their peers and choose which of them had the most impactful season. The 1st annual ELPA Players’ Choice awards includes 9 different categories. Winners were chosen exclusively by EuroLeague players.
Bostjan Nachbar, ELPA Managing Director: “For many athletes around the world, recognition from their teammates and opponents has bigger value than any other award. That is why we felt it was important to let players choose who they feel are the best of the best.”
ELPA will reveal the winners of our first annual ELPA Players’ Choice Awards between June 8th and June 10th.
- Tuesday 8 June: Fairplay Award, Best Newcomer, Most Respected Player
- Wednesday 9 June: Best 6th Man, Most Improved Player, Most Clutch Player
- Thursday 10 June: Best Young Player, Best Defender, Most Valuable Player
