The EuroLeague Players Association (ELPA) is excited to announce a partnership with Sports Business Classroom, the global leader in basketball education.
The first phase of the partnership consists of a group of ELPA members attending Sports Business Classroom’s Business of Basketball Immersive Experience, taking place July 10th-15th in Las Vegas during NBA Summer League.
The group of ELPA members that attend the program will get an immersive look into the complexity of the business of basketball and will be exposed to a curriculum that focuses on basketball operations, the league salary cap, media and broadcast, scouting and analytics.
The program has featured an all-star lineup of basketball luminaries as teachers and presenters, including NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, Dallas Mavericks Owner Mark Cuban, Boston Celtics Assistant GM Mike Zarren, Philadelphia 76ers President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey, Indiana Pacers Head Coach Rick Carlisle, NBA Summer League Co-Founder Warren LeGarie and many more.
Bostjan Nachbar, Managing Director, ELPA: “We are delighted to partner up with the Sports Business Classroom, a leading platform for education in the field of sports business and more specifically – the business of basketball. I am excited for those players who will participate in the program, learn from the best and become noticed as potential future executives in the world of sports.”
