The EuroLeague Players Association (ELPA) has entered into a strategic partnership with Education World Wide (EduWW), a leading international online school, to provide a stable, high-quality educational solution for families of professional basketball players — no matter where their sporting careers take them. The focus of the collaboariton is to help ELPA members achieve educational goals for their children amid the demands of a dynamic, travel-heavy career.
This collaboration addresses a key challenge faced by many EuroLeague players: ensuring their children receive consistent, accredited education while families relocate from city to city or country to country throughout players’ careers. With EduWW, players’ children can continue their schooling seamlessly through a flexible, fully online platform designed for globally mobile lifestyles.
“Players are often on the move, which can make it difficult for their children to stay in one school or education system,” said Bostjan Nachbar, Managing Director of ELPA. “This partnership is about giving peace of mind to our members — knowing that their children can access a world-class, accredited education wherever they are.”
Education World Wide offers a comprehensive online curriculum for grades 1–12, designed to support students regardless of their location or schedule. Their program is fully accredited and recognized by schools and universities worldwide, ensuring students receive a legitimate and transferable education that meets international standards.
“We’re excited to work with ELPA to help ensure the children of professional athletes have uninterrupted access to education,” said Stefan Dimic, CEO of Education World Wide. “Mobility shouldn’t stand in the way of a child’s learning. Our mission is to make education available anywhere, anytime, and for every type of family situation.”
While the main focus of this partnership is the education of players’ children, ELPA members themselves will also have access to online educational programs, allowing them to obtain their own high school diploma through the same flexible platform — further reinforcing the commitment to lifelong learning and development.
This partnership is another major step in ELPA’s mission to holistically support players and their families, both on and off the court.
