The meeting addressed a few different topics, from increasing integration between EuroLeague and EuroCup, player development, instant replay review scenarios and most important for ELPA, proposals for changes in rules and regulations, injury prevention and recovery of the players. The council was joined in its meeting by Euroleague Basketball executives.

Bostjan Nachbar was very satisfied with how the meeting went and had this to say after the council: “I think that such meetings are fundamental for the development of the league. It is encouraging to see, that EuroLeague management actively listenes to people from different backgrounds and is willing to implement new ideas and approaches. It is extremely important, that new ideas also cover players’ point of view. Personally, I will continue to look for ways, where players’ perspective could be heard and seen even more. Being invited and to attend EuroLeague Basketball Advisory Council was a right step in such direction.”
