ELPA Performance International Congress (EPIC) was held this Saturday May 29th.

During its inaugural congress, experts from a vast professional sports ecosystem shared their experience and knowledge with more than 1.600 people from 68 different countries, who attended the online congress. Several performance areas were covered through eight EPIC sessions.

ELPA Performance International Congress was a way for ELPA to unite people around a common topic, since it connected people from different organizations and sports from all over the globe. Performance professionals from sports such as football, handball, hockey, tennis, swimming, cycling, athletics and many other were in attendance.

Bostjan Nachbar, ELPA Managing Director: “Our mission is to help our players in many different ways and one of those is by pushing for innovation in the field of performance. We wish to become one of the leading organisations in this area. In order to do that, the net has to be spread really wide and include experts from around the world. This is what we did with EPIC – brought top-level  experts together and then shared their knowledge not only with our players, but also with the wider sports community.”

Francesco Cuzzolin, head of ELPA Performance Advisory Board: ”We are thrilled that so many people from different organizations all around the world joined us and I hope they were satisfied with the event. I would like to thank our renowned guest speakers for their time and also to our sponsors for recognizing our event as one they would like to support. Hopefully the situation around the world will allow us to organize EPIC next year live and in-person.”

ELPA is honored to enjoy the support of EPIC training partner Technogym and official sponsor Skill Yoga. A special thank you also goes to all universities that patronaged the congress.
